THE OBJECTIVE
Design a Brand Identity for a Museum Exhibit in 10 weeks with multiple deliverables. The
design must be able to draw in viewers and tell them a story. Approach complex projects with an open mind and a focus on visualization and process across multiple media. We will build upon what we know of the formal elements and delve into research, problem-solving, and alternative design methods based on design principles. The result will be projects and ideas that are innovative, communicative, and professional.
THE SOLUTION
In the past few decades, Made in China means cheaper and low quality. However, “Made in China” no longer necessarily means cheap. China has the expertise, the engineers, and the infrastructure to make quality products, and is doing so. The desire from the world to improve the “made in China” brand and compete head-to-head in the global market, most important Chinese people become better and better base on the Chinese dream.

The booklet's cover is a maze printed on cellophane paper. The three Spreads represent the past, the present, and the future. The first spread says that this "Made in China" may represent low quality and cheap in the past few decades. The second spread represents that people have made great efforts to get rid of Made's bad impression in China gradually. The third spread represents a bright future created by the Chinese people.

I incorporated the maze pattern into my design. The maze represents what has been made in China over the past few decades. In the past, Made in China may have gone down dead ends or wrong paths, but now Made in China has found its way out of this maze through the Chinese people's efforts and is walking comfortably.

PACKAGE
This package is designed for Maze Money Box. I used two boxes to make this package. The first box is transparent. On the sides are pictures of Chinese cities. The second one is a paper box printed with three words on the sides: Widespread, Respectable, and Spiritual. Those words are representing Made in China. The third box is a combination of two boxes. The pictures on the transparent box give a three-dimensional feeling. The transparent box "MADE IN CHINA" and the "MAZE MONEY BOX" in the paper box are well integrated.
